The Glowmotion collection consists of a unique lighting collection where motion and light form a poetic and functional couple. The current Glowmotion lighting objects and fixtures find their origin in the Kinetura lighting collection, designed by Kinetura, Xaveer Claerhout and Barbara Vanbiervliet.
The Kinetura concept is adding a new dynamic dimension to generally static design and architecture. Objects are transformed in a silent and nearly imperceptible way into a contrasting shape with a different functionality and expression, as if an extra spatial dimension were involved.
Energy-efficiency and light modulation are main targets in lighting today. Focus however is mainly on light source and lighting control. The lighting fixtures themselves do not seem to follow the same pace in this fundamental evolution. For Kinetura lighting, physical transformation of the fixtures can link dynamic light with a new dynamic spatial concept.
Metamorphic lighting fixtures and physically transformable architecture bring artificial and natural light closer together. Light and energy can be captured, controlled and used, according to the needs of the moment.
